Phonon measurement of RbCl at 4.9 kbar

Physica B: Condensed Matter, 1997
Abstract Phonon energy of rubidium chloride was measured at ambient pressure and at 4.9 kbar which is just below the structural phase transition pressure from B1 to B2 phase. The energies of the [0 0 1]LA mode at 4.9 kbar increased from those at ambient pressure. On the other hand, the energies of the [0 0 1]TA mode slightly decreased.

The double salt RbCl · NiCl2 · 2H2O

Journal of Solid State Chemistry, 1989
Abstract A study of the RbClNiCl 2 H 2 O system revealed the existence of the double salt RbCl · NiCl 2 · 2H 2 O at 50 and 75°C. In the temperature range 25–75°C the congruently soluble salt is 2RbCl · NiCl 2 · 2H 2 O. The salt RbCl · NiCl 2 · 2H 2 O does not appear at 25°C.

Experimental determination and prediction of activity coefficients of RbCl in aqueous (RbCl + RbNO3) mixture at T= 298.15 K

The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, 2005
Abstract Activity coefficients for rubidium chloride in the (RbCl + RbNO3 + H2O) ternary system were determined from electromotive force (emf) measurements of the cell: Rb - ion selective electrode ( ISE ) | RbCl ( m A ) , RbNO 3 ( m B ) , H 2 O | Ag | AgCl at T = 298.15 K and over total

Phase diagram of the CsCl-RbCl system

Journal of Materials Science, 1988
As part of the systematic research on the phase stability of alkali halides, the phase diagram of the CsCl-RbCl system was determined by using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) with the help of high-temperature X-ray diffractometry. It is indicated from the phase diagram that the CsCl-enriched solid solution which possesses rocksalt structure and

Energy band structure of RbCl and CsCl

Il Nuovo Cimento B, 1973
The conduction band structures of RbCl and CsCl are computed by means of a model potential approach proposed by Bassani and Giuliano in a preceding paper. To assess the influence of the crystal structure on the electronic-energy levels of the CsCl, calculations have also been performed in the f.c.c. CsCl.

Adaptive evolution of the rbcL gene in Brassicaceae

Biochemical Systematics and Ecology, 2012
Abstract Ribulose-l, 5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase (Rubisco) is a bifunctional enzyme in plants and it can be instrumental in the continual adaption to the variations in the concentrations of CO2. The large subunit of Rubisco is encoded by choloplast rbcL gene.

Phylogenetic Analysis of Green Plant rbcL Sequences

Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution, 1994
DNA and derived amino acid sequences of the rbcL gene from selected photosynthetic bacteria, green algae, bryophytes, "fern allies," ferns, and seed plants were used to construct phylogenetic trees using parsimony algorithms. Internal support of clades was determined by the bootstrap and decay indices. External support was judged by comparison of trees
