RC4 Encryption-A Literature Survey
A chronological survey demonstrating the cryptanalysis of RC4 stream cipher is presented in this paper. We have summarized the various weaknesses of RC4 algorithm followed by the recently proposed enhancements available in the literature.

Refined Construction of RC4 Key Setting in WPA [PDF]
The RC4 stream cipher is widely used including WEP and WPA, which are the security protocols for IEEE 802.11 wireless standard. WPA improved a construction of the RC4 key setting known as TKIP to avoid the known WEP attacks.

RC4-AccSuite: A Hardware Acceleration Suite for RC4-Like Stream Ciphers [PDF]
We present RC4-AccSuite, a hardware accelerator, which combines the flexibility of an application specific instruction set processor and the performance of an application specific IC for the most widely deployed commercial stream cipher RC4 and its eight

RC4-BHF: An Improved RC4-Based Hash Function
2012 IEEE 12th International Conference on Computer and Information Technology, 2012In this paper, an improved version of RC4 based hash function is proposed and we call it RC4-BHF. RC4-BHF is much efficient than well-known hash functions (e.g., MD4, MD5 and SHA-1) and it is designed for radio-frequency identification (RFID) devices, which other hash functions do not apply.

An Obfuscated Implementation of RC4
2012Because of its simplicity, ease of implementation, and speed, RC4 is one of the most widely used software oriented stream ciphers. It is used in several popular protocols such as SSL and it has also been integrated into many applications and software such as Microsoft Windows, Lotus Notes, Oracle Secure SQL and Skype.

RC4-2S: RC4 Stream Cipher with Two State Tables
2013One of the most important symmetric cryptographic algorithms is Rivest Cipher 4 (RC4) stream cipher which can be applied to many security applications in real time security. However, RC4 cipher shows some weaknesses including a correlation problem between the public known outputs of the internal state. We propose RC4 stream cipher with two state tables
