Corrosion of RC Beams During Time
Abstract This article presented results of impact corrosion on reinforce concrete beams during time with previous loading. Before testing the RC beams were loaded by 37% and 75% from bearing-capacity load of undamaged corrosion beams. There were tested two types of beams. First type beams were tested under force loading action and second

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

RC beams strengthened by RC jacketing under load
This article is devoted to experimental researches of the reinforced concrete beams strengthened by a RC jacketing under load. The program of experimental researches of reinforced concrete beams was envisaged to test four series with a total number of 16 beams 2,100 mm long, of which 14 reinforced beams were additionally pre-loaded. In all experimental

Seismic strengthening of beam-column joints with multidirectional CFRP laminates [PDF]
An experimental program was carried out to analyse the potentialities of a technique based on the use of multidirectional CFRP laminates (MDL-CFRP) for the seismic repair and strengthening of reinforced concrete (RC) beam-column joints. This experimental
