Aperiodic Metasurface for Broadband RCS Reduction

2020 URSI Regional Conference on Radio Science ( URSI-RCRS), 2020
In this paper, a straightforward design technique is presented for designing broadband, polarization-insensitive meta-surface for wideband radar cross-section (RCS) reduction. Two different unit cell structures, one dual resonance unit cell composed of a circular patch and circular loop and, a square patch are selected for enhancing the phase bandwidth

An ultra-wideband metasurface for RCS reduction

2018 International Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society Symposium - China (ACES), 2018
In this paper, split ring unit cells are proposed and designed for ultra-wideband RCS reduction. The split ring unit cell converts the incidence wave to its cross-polarization in wide bandwidth, and most importantly, the cross-polarized reflection phase and amplitude can be separately controlled by the cell geometry and rotation angle.

RCS reduction of Antipodal Vivaldi Antenna

2015 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC), 2015
A novel Antipodal Vivaldi Antenna with low radar cross section (RCS) is proposed in this paper. By using flat corrugated slotline to replace exponential gradient curve on both sides of the antenna, the RCS in the endfire direction can be reduced in the operating band of 4.3 GHz-12 GHz when the incident wave is perpendicular to the antenna plane.

The RCS reduction of microstrip patch antennas

Tenth International Conference on Antennas and Propagation (ICAP), 1997
The radar cross section (RCS) of microstrip patch antennas is studied. Various RCS reduction techniques are described. These are investigated using finite element method codes. The results of a series of compact range RCS measurements are discussed. Good agreement between measured and computed RCS is observed.

RC Interconnect Model Order Reduction with Truncation Balanced Reduction

2007 International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology, 2007
Interconnect becomes one of the major factors of today's VLSI circuit design. Its modeling and simulation are becoming more challenging and very difficult. This paper describes the truncation balanced reduction (TBR) algorithms in the model reduction of RC interconnect.

RC-in RC-out model order reduction accurate up to second order moments

Proceedings 2001 IEEE International Conference on Computer Design: VLSI in Computers and Processors. ICCD 2001, 2002
In this paper, we present a RC-in RC-out model order reduction method which takes RC circuits and accurate reduced models which can be realized using passive RC elements. The reduced models are accurate up to 2nd order moment and hence are more accurate than the first order moment matching based algorithm. The runtime and reduction ratios of our method

Seismic Capacity Reduction Factors for a RC Beam and Two RC Columns

2018
Many building structures can be damaged and even collapse during a severe earthquake. For this reason it is important to take immediate decisions about the safety of damaged structures in order to avoid possible human losses in case of aftershocks.
