An Approach of Automatic SPARQL Generation for BIM Data Extraction

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Generally, building information modelling (BIM) models contain multiple dimensions of building information, including building design data, construction information, and maintenance-related contents, which are related with different engineering ...

Resolving Oxidative and Corrosive Calendar‐Aging via Electrolyte Engineering for Stable Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
A weakly solvating ether solvent, 1,2‐dimethoxypropane (DMP), is proposed for use in localized high‐concentration electrolytes (LHCEs) for lithium metal batteries (LMBs). These DMP‐based LHCEs simultaneously suppress lithium metal corrosion and cathode degradation—two interrelated processes that accelerate calendar aging of LMBs.

Comparative Insights and Overlooked Factors of Interphase Chemistry in Alkali Metal‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This review presents a comparative analysis of Li‐, Na‐, and K‐ion batteries, focusing on the critical role of electrode–electrolyte interphases. It especially highlights overlooked aspects such as SEI/CEI misconceptions, binder effects, and self‐discharge relevance, emphasizing the limitations of current understanding and offering strategies for ...

Interpreting XML documents via an RDF schema ontology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Many business documents are represented in XML. However XML only describes the structure of data, not its meaning. The meaning of data is required for advanced automated processing, as is envisaged in the "Semantic Web".

Capturing Relational Schemas and Functional Dependencies in RDFS

open access: yesProceedings of the AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence, 2014
Mapping relational data to RDF is an important task for the development of the Semantic Web. To this end, the W3C has recently released a Recommendation for the so-called direct mapping of relational data to RDF. In this work, we propose an enrichment of the direct mapping to make it more faithful by transferring also semantic ...

Dual Impact of Long‐Lived Localized Carriers Induced by Restricted Hole Transfer in Organic Photovoltaics and Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This work clarifies why organic semiconductors perform differently in photovoltaic devices and photocatalytic nanoparticles. By examining D18:Y5 and PM6:Y6 systems, we show how aggregation, exciton lifetime, and interfacial charge transfer behavior govern energy‐conversion pathways.

The semantic web and expert metadata : pull apart then bring together [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The paper discusses the relevance of Resource Description Framework (RDF) and Simple Knowledge Organisation System (SKOS), the essential technical components of the Semantic Web, to the structure and content of professional metadata generated by archives,

From MARC silos to Linked Data silos?

open access: yeso-bib. Das offene Bibliotheksjournal, 2017
Libraries are opening up their bibliographic metadata as Linked Data. However, they have all used different data models for structuring their bibliographic data.

Comparison of DeePMD, MTP, GAP, ACE and MACE Machine‐Learned Potentials for Radiation‐Damage Simulations: A User Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
The authors evaluated six machine‐learned interatomic potentials for simulating threshold displacement energies and tritium diffusion in LiAlO2 essential for tritium production. Trained on the same density functional theory data and benchmarked against traditional models for accuracy, stability, displacement energies, and cost, Moment Tensor Potential ...
