Re-Os Dating of Pyrrhotite from the Chaoshan Gold Skarn, Eastern Yangtze Craton, Eastern China
International Geology Review, 2008The Chaoshan gold skarn, located in the central part of the Tongling Cu-Au-Mo district in eastern China, consists of 10 ore bodies occurring along an intrusive contact between the Early Cretaceous Baimangshan pyroxene diorite (BPD) and limestones of the Middle Triassic Nanlinghu Formation.

Dating crust-mantle separation: Re-Os isotopic study of mafic xenoliths from central Arizona
Geology, 1997Mafic deep crustal and shallow upper mantle xenoliths hosted in the Chino Valley and Camp Creek latites of central Arizona have 187Os/188Os (0.216 to 1.51) ratios dramatically higher than values typical of mantle peridotite (

Re-Os dating of magnetite from the Shaquanzi Fe-Cu deposit, eastern Tianshan, NW China
Science China Earth Sciences, 2013Magnetite separates from the Shaquanzi Fe-Cu deposit in the eastern Tianshan are used for Re-Os geochronological study. Re-Os data show that magnetite separates contain ca. 0.7 to 50.9 ppb Re and ca. 16 to 63 ppt Os. Eight samples yield a model 3 isochron age of (303 ± 12) Ma (2 σ), which is within uncertainty consistent with of the Re-Os date (295±7 ...

Abstract Four molybdenite samples from veins in the Bingham Canyon porphyry copper deposit yield a weighted average Re-Os age of 37.0 ± 0.27 Ma. The molybdenite ages all overlap at the 2σ level. Previous investigations have suggested that mineralization at Bingham Canyon is coincident with and genetically related to the emplacement of ...
