Protic molecules containing strong O─H or N─H bonds typically resist hydrogen‐atom abstraction because of the high reactivity of the resulting heteroatom‐centered radicals. Evolutionary, Functional and Mechanistic Characterisation of Microbial Terpene Synthase‐Like Genes From Springtails

A genome analysis revealed the presence of many bacterial‐type terpene synthases in springtails. Four enzymes from Sinella curviseta were functionally characterised, resulting in the isolation of several compounds including sinellene ether, the first diterpene ether identified from a terpene synthase that represents a novel skeleton.

Long‐term prognosis is associated with residual disease after neoadjuvant systemic therapy but not with initial nodal status

This long‐term follow‐up study determined survival rates in a Swedish national cohort of 417 patients with breast cancer who all had neoadjuvant systemic therapy (NAST). Sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) was performed before NAST in clinically node‐negative and after NAST in clinically node‐positive patients.

European multicentre study on outcome of surgery for sporadic primary hyperparathyroidism

Some 5861 patients undergoing first‐time surgery for sporadic primary hyperparathyroidism were registered in the Eurocrine® database between 2015 and 2018. The use of intraoperative parathyroid hormone measurement decreased the risk of conversion and persistent hypercalcaemia.
