CEBPG‐Mediated Palmitic Acid Adaptation of Cancer‐Associated Fibroblasts Drives Metastasis of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals a metabolic signaling axis in the OSCC microenvironment where palmitic acid (PA) drives the activation of CAFs. PA uptake triggers CEBPG‐dependent epigenetic remodeling to upregulate ERN1 and TMBIM6, thereby mitigating ER stress. This adaptive program sustains CAF survival and the pro‐metastatic phenotype, establishing this pathway ...

A Mononuclear Ruthenium(V)‐Imido Complex With Hydrogen Bonding in the Second Coordination Sphere Forming Aziridines Without N‐Substituents From Alkenes in Water

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
This study employs a RuV═NH complex with hydrogen‐bonding (HB) sites in the SCS to afford non‐N‐substituted aziridines selectively. Nitrogen‐atom transfer occurs from the RuV═NH complex to alkenes in water to produce aziridine derivatives in high yields.

SHRIMP U–Pb (zircon), Ar–Ar (muscovite) and Re–Os (molybdenite) isotopic dating of the Taoxikeng tungsten deposit, South China Block

open access: yesOre Geology Reviews, 2011
Abstract The Taoxikeng tungsten deposit is located in the Jiangxi Province in the southern part of China, and is one of the largest wolframite quartz-vein type tungsten deposits in the country. The deposit is situated in Sinian (Neoproterozoic) to Permian strata at the contact with the buried Taoxikeng Granite.

Emerging Materials and Future Strategies for Solid Oxide Electrochemical Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Solid oxide electrochemical cells operate under strongly coupled electrochemical and thermodynamic conditions, where performance is constrained by interactions among crystal structure, defect chemistry, and interfacial evolution. This review, based on a structure‐defect‐property‐durability framework, reveals the roles of lattice symmetry and defect ...

Autonomous Machine Learning‐Based Classification and Arrangement of Submillimeter Objects Using a Capillary Force Gripper

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
This study presents an automated system integrating a capillary force gripper and machine learning‐based object detection for sorting and placing submillimeter objects. The system achieved stable and simultaneous manipulation of four object types, with an average task time of 86.0 seconds and a positioning error of 157 ± 84 µm, highlighting its ...

Tectonic setting and metallogenic chronology of the Ashele Cu–Zn deposit in Xinjiang, NW China: Constraints from Re-Os dating of pyrite, U-Pb dating of zircon and Hf isotopes

open access: yesOre Geology Reviews, 2019
Abstract The Ashele Cu-Zn deposit, an important volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposit, is located in the centre of the Ashele volcano-sedimentary basin of the Altay metallogenic belt, North Xinjiang, NW China. The No. 1 orebody is located between the roof basalt and the base tuff. The roof basalt yielded a zircon U-Pb age of 342 ± 4.6 Ma (MSWD =

Concordant ages for the giant Kipushi base metal deposit (DR Congo) from direct Rb–Sr and Re–Os dating of sulfides

open access: yes, 2007
We report concordant ages of 451.1 ± 6.0 and 450.5 ± 3.4 Ma from direct Rb–Sr and Re–Os isochron dating, respectively, of ore-stage Zn–Cu–Ge sulfides, including sphalerite for the giant carbonate-hosted Kipushi base metal (+Ge) deposit in the ...

Dissecting the Re-Os molybdenite geochronometer [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Rhenium and osmium isotopes have been used for decades to date the formation of molybdenite (MoS2), a common mineral in ore deposits and the world’s main source of molybdenum and rhenium.

Long‐term prognosis is associated with residual disease after neoadjuvant systemic therapy but not with initial nodal status

open access: yesBJS (British Journal of Surgery), EarlyView., 2020
This long‐term follow‐up study determined survival rates in a Swedish national cohort of 417 patients with breast cancer who all had neoadjuvant systemic therapy (NAST). Sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) was performed before NAST in clinically node‐negative and after NAST in clinically node‐positive patients.

European multicentre study on outcome of surgery for sporadic primary hyperparathyroidism

open access: yesBJS (British Journal of Surgery), EarlyView., 2020
Some 5861 patients undergoing first‐time surgery for sporadic primary hyperparathyroidism were registered in the Eurocrine® database between 2015 and 2018. The use of intraoperative parathyroid hormone measurement decreased the risk of conversion and persistent hypercalcaemia.
