Re-Os dating, and Pb-H-O isotope characteristics, of the Abra Cu-Ag-Pb-Au polymetallic deposit in Western Australia [PDF]

open access: yesActa Geochimica, 2021
AbstractThe Abra deposit, a large lead-silver-copper–gold polymetallic deposit in Western Australia, is located at the eastern of the metallogenic belt of the Jillawarra basin in the Bangemall basin. The 4th to the 6th rock section of the Irrigully Group of Edmund Series are the principal ore-host strata, composed mainly of sandstone and fine sandstone.

Pliocene and Pleistocene chronostratigraphy and paleoenvironment of the Central Arctic Ocean, using deep water agglutinated foraminifera [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
Deep-water agglutinated foraminifera (DWAF) were studied from Cores PS2177-5, PS2200-5, PS2212-3 and PS2185-6; from the R/V POLARSTERN ARK-VIII/3 Cruise in the central Arctic Ocean.

New modeling of the Vostok ice flow line and implication for the glaciological chronology of the Vostok ice core [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
International audienceWe have used new spaceborne (elevation) and airborne (ice thickness) data to constrain a 2D1/2 model of snow accumulation and ice flow along the Ridge B‐Vostok station ice flow line (East Antarctica). We show that new evaluations of

Geochemistry of Kauai shield-stage lavas: Implications for the chemical evolution of the Hawaiian plume [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We measured He, Sr, Nd, Pb, and Os isotope ratios and major and trace element concentrations in stratigraphically and paleomagnetically controlled shield-stage lavas from Kauai, Hawaii. The range of 3He/4He ratios (17–28 RA) from Kauai is similar to that

Re-Os isotope system of sulfide from the Fule carbonate-hosted Pb-Zn deposit, SW China: Implications for Re-Os dating of Pb-Zn mineralization

open access: yesOre Geology Reviews, 2020
Abstract The Fule deposit is one of the carbonate-hosted Pb-Zn deposits in southeastern part of the Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou (SYG) metallogenic province, SW China. This deposit is hosted by dolomitic limestone and dolomite of the Yangxin Formation with Zn-Pb ore reserves of more than 20 million tons (Mt).

Accurate Determination of the Age of the Carbonaceous Mudstone of the Ordovician-Silurian Boundary in Zheng'an County, Guizhou Province by Re-Os Isotope Dating Method and Its Application in Paleoenvironmental Inversion

open access: yesYankuang ceshi, 2020
BACKGROUND Organic-rich sedimentary rocks of the Wufeng-Longmaxi Formation are widely developed in the Ordovician-Silurian boundary of the Upper Yangtze platform in China, which is rich in shale gas resources. Using the Re-Os isotope system to study this
