Numerical Solutions of Reaction-Diffusion systems with coupled diffusion terms

open access: yesRuhuna Journal of Science, 2009
Numerical solutions of some initial-boundary value problem associated with a particular reaction-diffusion systems namely Gray-Scott model responsible for spatial pattern formation are considered.

Event-Triggered Synchronization of Coupled Neural Networks with Reaction–Diffusion Terms

open access: yesMathematics
This paper focuses on the event-triggered synchronization of coupled neural networks with reaction–diffusion terms. At first, an effective event-triggered controller was designed based on time sampling.

Traveling Fronts in a Reaction–Diffusion Equation with a Memory Term [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Dynamics and Differential Equations, 2022
AbstractBased on a recent work on traveling waves in spatially nonlocal reaction–diffusion equations, we investigate the existence of traveling fronts in reaction–diffusion equations with a memory term. We will explain how such memory terms can arise from reduction of reaction–diffusion systems if the diffusion constants of the other species can be ...

On Stochastic Reaction-Diffusion Equations with Singular Force Term [PDF]

open access: yesBernoulli, 2001
An existence and uniqueness theorem for stochastic reaction-diffusion equations driven by space time white noise in one spatial dimension is proved. It appears as a regularization of the ill-behaved deterministic equation. The paper is organized as follows: (1) Introduction; (2) formulation of the problem and the main results containing two theorems ...

Recovery of Nonlinear Terms for Reaction Diffusion Equations from Boundary Measurements

open access: yesArchive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis, 2023
We consider the inverse problem of determining a general semilinear term appearing in nonlinear parabolic equations. For this purpose, we derive a new criterion that allows to prove global recovery of some general class of semilinear terms from lateral boundary measurements of solutions of the equation with initial condition fixed at zero.

Homogenization for stochastic reaction-diffusion equations with singular perturbation term

open access: yesDiscrete & Continuous Dynamical Systems - B, 2022
<p style='text-indent:20px;'>The main purpose of this paper is to study the homogenization problem of stochastic reaction-diffusion equations with singular perturbation term. The difficulty in studying such problems is how to get the uniform estimates of the equations under the influence of the singularity term.

Application of Fatou’s Lemma for Strong Homogenization of Attractors to Reaction–Diffusion Systems with Rapidly Oscillating Coefficients in Orthotropic Media with Periodic Obstacles

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
We study reaction–diffusion systems with rapidly oscillating terms in the coefficients of equations and in the boundary conditions, in media with periodic obstacles. The non-linear terms of the equations only satisfy general dissipation conditions.
