Energy dependence of the 6Li + 16O scattering and isotopic differences between potentials of the 6,7Li + 16O interactions [PDF]

open access: yesЯдерна фізика та енергетика, 2012
Experimental data of the 6Li + 16O elastic scattering at Ec.m.. = 3.27 - 36.8 MeV known from literature, were analyzed within the optical model and coupled-reaction-channels method.

Circulating histones as clinical biomarkers in critically ill conditions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Circulating histones are emerging as promising biomarkers in critical illness due to their diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic potential. Detection methods such as ELISA and mass spectrometry provide reliable approaches for quantifying histone levels in plasma samples.

Reaction mechanisms in transport theories: a test of the nuclear effective interaction

open access: yes, 2012
We review recent results concerning collective excitations in neutron-rich systems and reactions between charge asymmetric systems at Fermi energies. Solving numerically self-consistent transport equations for neutrons and protons with specific initial

Insights into pegRNA design from editing of the cardiomyopathy‐associated phospholamban R14del mutation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals how prime editing guide RNA (pegRNA) secondary structure and reverse transcriptase template length affect prime editing efficiency in correcting the phospholamban R14del cardiomyopathy‐associated mutation. Insights support the design of structurally optimized enhanced pegRNAs for precise gene therapy.

Single‐cell insights into the role of T cells in B‐cell malignancies

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Single‐cell technologies have transformed our understanding of T cell–tumor cell interactions in B‐cell malignancies, revealing new T‐cell subsets, functional states, and immune evasion mechanisms. This Review synthesizes these findings, highlighting the roles of T cells in pathogenesis, progression, and therapy response, and underscoring their ...

A kinetics and mechanistic study of the atmospherically relevant reaction between molecular chlorine and dimethyl sulfide (DMS)

open access: yes, 2005
A gas-phase kinetics study of the atmospherically important reaction between Cl2 and dimethyl sulfide (DMS)Cl2 + CH3SCH3 → products has been made using a flow-tube interfaced to a photoelectron spectrometer.

An update on the mechanism of the graphene–NO reaction

open access: yesCarbon, 2015
Cognizant of the key experimental facts from studies of carbonaceous solids ranging from soot to graphite, we performed a quantum chemistry study of the interaction of NO monomer or dimer with one or more zigzag sites. Thermodynamic and kinetic results were used to examine two alternative mechanisms proposed in the literature, and to compare them with ...

Intron‐oriented HTLV‐1 integration in an adult T‐cell leukemia/lymphoma cell line sustains expression of intact ift81 mRNA

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In the adult T‐cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATL) cell line ED, the human T‐cell leukemia virus type 1 (HTLV‐1) provirus was integrated into the intron of the ift81 gene in the antisense orientation. Despite this integration, both the intact ift81 and the viral oncogene hbz were simultaneously expressed, likely due to the functional insufficiency of viral ...
