tsscds2018: A code for automated discovery of chemical reaction mechanisms and solving the kinetics

Journal of Computational Chemistry, 2018
A new software, called tsscds2018, has been developed to discover reaction mechanisms and solve the kinetics in a fully automated fashion. The program employs algorithms based on Graph Theory to find transition state (TS) geometries from accelerated ...

Mechanism of Delayed Reactions

Science, 1967
Arsanilic acid conjugates of polymers of L-typrosine, glutamic acid, and alanine are immunogenic and can elicit hapten-specific, delayed-hypersensitivity reactions in sensitized guinea pigs. Conjugates of the D-amino acid polymers are neither immunogenic nor capable of eliciting delayed reactions.

Towards a Comprehensive Understanding of the Reaction Mechanisms Between Defective MoS2 and Thiol Molecules.

Angewandte Chemie, 2017
Sulfur vacancies (SVs) inherent in MoS2 are generally detrimental for carrier mobility and optical properties. Thiol chemistry has been explored for SV repair and surface functionalization.

Mechanism of Oligomerization Reactions of Silica

The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2006
The mechanism of the oligomerization reaction of silica, the initial step of silica formation, has been studied by quantum chemical techniques. The solvent effect is included by using the COSMO model. The formation of various oligomers (from dimer to tetramer) was investigated.

Reaction mechanisms : Part (ii) Pericyclic reactions

Annual Reports Section "B" (Organic Chemistry), 2007
This report surveys the 2008 literature on mechanisms of pericyclic reactions. A recurring theme in this year’s reports is again catalysis. Several studies addressed the acceleration of pericyclic reactions by electron transfer, protonation, encapsulation-induced preorganization and selective transition state stabilization via hydrogen bonding or Lewis

Determining Reaction Mechanisms

2005
The articles in this chapter review methods for determining reaction rates for systems in which transitions from state to state are infrequent. Building on seminal concepts such as transition state theory, advances in the last 25 years have given us efficient techniques for finding saddle points and computing accurate rate constants, both classically ...

Reaction Mechanisms of the Electrochemical Conversion of Carbon Dioxide to Formic Acid on Tin Oxide Electrodes

, 2017
Recent reports on the electrochemical production of formate demonstrate that reduced metal oxides play a key role in activating stable CO2 molecules. To expand a pre-existing design principle of catalysts to a higher level, one of the remaining issues is
