Reactive Compatibilizer Precursors for LDPE/PA6 Blends, 4

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, 2004
AbstractSummary: The effectiveness of some thermoplastic elastomers grafted with maleic anhydride (MA) or with glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) as compatibilizer precursors (CPs) for blends of low density polyethylene (LDPE) with polyamide‐6 (PA) has been studied.

Optimization in 3D Printable Silicone DIW Ink Formulations: Gelling Behavior Control and the Use of Carbon Nanotubes

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 143, Issue 15, April 15, 2026.
DIW 3D printing of silicone materials can be optimized by controlling their gelling behavior or curing mechanism with carbon nanotubes. This precision control results in high‐performance elastomer materials and is a model study for characterization methods.

Polyethylene‐Polyamide‐6 Diblock Copolymers for Fused Filament Fabrication

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, Volume 64, Issue 8, Page 1744-1759, 15 April 2026.
Linear HDPE‐PA6 block copolymers were prepared by polymerization of ethylene to a macroinitiator and subsequent anionic caprolactam polymerization. The copolymer with a HDPE mass of 6500 Da and PA6 mass of 20.000 Da was used as a filament in 3D printing.

Curaua/polypropylene composites: Phase compatibilization and alternative micromechanics modeling

open access: yesIndustrial Crops and Products
Curaua strands, a natural fiber scarcely explored for reinforcement applications, were investigated as the dispersed phase in polypropylene composites. Although maleic anhydride-grafted polypropylene (MAPP) is widely used as a compatibilizer in natural ...
