The layer‐by‐layer (LbL) assembly of coordination solids, enabled by the surface‐mounted metal‐organic framework (SURMOF) platform, is on the cusp of generating the organic counterpart of the epitaxy of inorganics. The programmable and sequential SURMOF protocol, optimized by machine learning (ML), is suited for accessing high‐quality thin films of ...

Reactive Power Control Strategies for DFIG-Based Plants
IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion, 2007This paper explores and compares the performance of alternative voltage control strategies applied to doubly fed induction generator (DFIG). Different combinations of reactive power control of rotor- and grid-side converters are investigated for voltage-control purposes. Simulations are performed using detailed models built in DIgSILENT PowerFactory in

Active reactive-power controller
IEE Proceedings - Electric Power Applications, 1995A novel technique for building reactive power compensators using the switched-capacitor technique is presented. Normally when switched-capacitor are used for reactive power compensation they are operated at the supply frequency; in the proposed technique the capacitors are switched at higher frequencies, typically 800 Hz.
