Structure - reactivity patterns in nucleophilic addition to activated aromatic compounds [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
Kinetic and equilibrium data for the reactions of some aromatic nitro compounds with nucleophiles have been investigated using various spectrophotometric techniques (UV/visible, stopped-flow and temperature jump) and nmr spectroscopy.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

The study method of palladium compound interaction with hydrogen on a carrier surface

open access: yesТонкие химические технологии, 2010
A method was developed to study the initial palladium compounds (e.g. acetate or chloride) interaction with molecular hydrogen on a carrier surface.

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Astrocyte heterogeneity in brain metastases

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Astrocytes emerge as pivotal regulators of metastatic colonization, survival, immune remodeling, and therapy response associated with an increasing heterogeneity that requires spatially and longitudinally resolved approaches to uncover regulatory programs and guide context‐specific therapies.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Un método para enseñar el porqué suceden las reacciones químicas An approach for explaining chemical transformations

open access: yesQuímica Nova, 2013
A methodology is proposed for explaining one of the central questions in the teaching of general chemistry courses to freshman students: why do chemical transformations occur? The answer to this question is based on thermodynamics but we propose arriving
