Unsupervised Analysis of Optical Imaging Data for the Discovery of Reactivity Patterns in Metal Alloy [PDF]
Operando wide-field optical microscopy imaging yields a wealth of information about the reactivity of metal interfaces, yet the data are often unstructured and challenging to process.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

The CuI- or Ag2CO3-catalyzed [3+2] cycloaddition of propargyl-substituted dihydroisoindolin-1-one (3) with arylnitrile oxides 1a–d (Ar = Ph, p-MeC6H4, p-MeOC6H4, p-ClC6H4) produces in good yields novel 3,5-disubstituted isoxazoles 4 of the ethyl-2-benzyl-

The adequacy of recovery processes in myocardial infarction (MI) significantly depends on the state of reactivity of the organism, which, in turn, is determined by the adequacy of neuro-endocrine regulation, in particular, hypothalamic-pituitary ...

Mapping Photochemical Reactivity Profiles on Surfaces [PDF]
Herein, we introduce a comprehensive methodology to map the reactivity of photochemical systems on surfaces. The reactivity of photoreactive groups in solution often departs from their corresponding solution absorption spectra.

Ligand-Enforced Geometries and Associated Reactivity in P-Block Compounds [PDF]
The geometry at an element centre can generally be predicted based on the number of electron pairs around it using valence shell electron pair repulsion (VSEPR) theory.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Graph transformer neural network for chemical reactivity prediction [PDF]
Optimizing the properties of advanced drug candidates can be facilitated by directly introducing certain chemical groups without having to synthesize the molecules from scratch.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
