Characterization of Reactor Pressure Vessel Steel by ABI Testing
AbstractMicrostructure of the base metal, the multilayer welding seam and the two-layer cladding was characterized through the thickness of the WWER 440 reactor pressure vessel wall. Mechanical properties were determined by performing a series of instrumented indentations across the weld at room temperature.

This article addresses the impact of mixing on polymer properties during high‐pressure polymerization of ethylene. Mixing is analyzed using CFD simulations, including polymerization kinetics. Detailed polymer properties are obtained through Monte Carlo simulations. Both modeling steps are linked via a compartmentalization approach.

Vibrational Exfoliation of 2D Materials
Vibrational energy folds, fractures and exfoliates atomically and molecularly thin materials. Combining experimentation and computational methods, this unique vibrational synthesis pathway is revealed. This process overcomes barriers of existing approaches by processing 1000 g/L dispersions without loss in yield.
