Magnetic Unclonable Functions Leveraging Remanence and Anhysteretic States
A micrometric array of magnetic pillars provides a stable and unclonable hardware for generating cryptographic keys. From a single device, the ability is demonstrated to produce a 470‐bit key while also offering a reconfigurable mode of operation.

The readability of scientific texts is decreasing over time
Clarity and accuracy of reporting are fundamental to the scientific process. Readability formulas can estimate how difficult a text is to read. Here, in a corpus consisting of 709,577 abstracts published between 1881 and 2015 from 123 scientific journals,

Bistable Photochromic Guest–Host Liquid Crystals for Rewritable and Switchable Photonic Devices
A photochromic DTCP‐based liquid crystal dye is incorporated into cholesteric liquid crystals (CLCs) to achieve optically and electrically tunable multistable states. In the open‐ring form, the system exhibits three electrically stable textures—planar, focal conic, and uniformly lying helix (ULH)—corresponding to reflective, scattering, and transparent

In situ monitoring of bulk photoalignment reveals how molecular weight, azobenzene content, cooling rate, and thickness govern ordering in main‐chain liquid crystalline polymers. Optimized copolymers exceed conventional thickness limits, maintaining stable alignment up to 130 µm with high energy efficiency and reversible optical patterning.
