Refractive Index‐Corrected Light‐Sheet Microscopy for Macro‐View Cardiovascular Imaging
A refractive index‐corrected light‐sheet fluorescence microscopy system enables macro‐view cardiovascular imaging across organs, adapting to refractive index variations from different optical clearing protocols. By integrating axial sweeping, multi‐view imaging, and a sealed chamber, it extends the field of view, enhances isotropy, and improves safety.

The neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) play an important role in reperfusion injury in ischemic stroke. Here, considering the unique vascular localization of NETs, a DNase I‐mediated NETs‐targeting nanoparticle is developed to integrate the catalytic and chemotactic functions of DNase I and achieve the synergistic regulation of the internal and ...

These study underscores the pivotal role of neutrophil‐derived myeloid‐related protein 14 (MRP14) in the pathophysiology of acute ischemic stroke (AIS). MRP14 not only disrupts mitochondrial function, thereby inhibiting microglial phagocytosis of neutrophils, but also activates microglial pyroptosis, exacerbating neuroinflammation following AIS ...

To the Editor.— We read the report of Arlan L. Rosenbloom, MD, and John I. Malone, MD (240:2462, 1978), concerning six diabetic children in whom ketone reagent strip failure resulted in a misdiagnosis of gastroenteritis instead of what proved to be diabetic ketoacidosis. A reply by the manufacturer, appended to the article, implied that these patients

Reagent Strip Performance as Evaluated by a Meter
The Diabetes Educator, 1985The stability of 98 Chemstrip bG (CS) was assessed with a specially de signed meter (Accu-Chek) to deter mine the length of time patient-read CS can be saved in order to evaluate the accuracy of self-monitoring. Visual readings of 70 CS from 21 patients were compared with meter readings immediately after capillary blood glu cose (CBG) determination to

Rapid diagnosis of bacterial meningitis with reagent strips
The Lancet, 1995Laboratory examination of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is not available in many parts of the world, and without knowledge of CSF glucose, protein, and cells, a diagnosis of meningitis may be missed. Testing CSF with urine reagent strips that measure glucose and protein has given variable results.

Quantitative urine culture by reagent strip incubation
Urology, 1975The filter paper culture-tetrazolium test ressults have been compared with routine hospital streak plate cultures in 400 random urine specimens. Pseudomonas cultures tended to impart a color change to the test pads which rendered interpretation difficult.

Evaluation of a Portable Urinary pH Meter and Reagent Strips
Journal of Endourology, 2018To evaluate a portable electronic pH meter and to put its accuracy in perspective with reagent strips read by a layperson, a healthcare professional, and an electronic reading device.Based on a preanalysis on 20 patients, a sample size of 77 urine aliquots from healthy volunteers was necessary to obtain sufficient study power.

Validity and interobserver agreement of reagent strips for measurement of glucosuria
Scandinavian Journal of Clinical and Laboratory Investigation, 2011Measurement of glucosuria by means of a visually readable reagent test strip is frequently used in a wide variety of clinical settings. The aim of this study was to evaluate the validity and reliability of this semi-quantitative measurement of glucosuria compared to laboratory measurements of glucose concentrations in urine.Reagent test strips ...

A STUDY OF REAGENTS USED IN THE STRIPPING OF BRONZES
Studies in Conservation, 1978The action of 'stripping' agents on exposed bronze alloys was studied. Test pieces of tin-bronze and leaded tin-bronze alloys having compositions typical of ancient objects were cast from modern metal stock, simulating procedures used in antiquity, and subjected to the following reagents: alkaline glycerol, alkaline Rochelle salt, Calgon, citric acid ...
