Several commercial glucose test kits are available and can be used for this purpose. This paper compares the cost, reaction range, and reaction time reported for six different types of reagent strip tests.

The New Zealand medical journal, 1976Microstix is a simple and convenient reagent strip for obtaining a semi-quantitative bacterial count on urine specimens.
