Clinical and Biological Features of Response in Resistant Neuroblastoma to 131I‐Metaiodobenzylguanidine Radiotherapy in the Anti‐GD2 Immunotherapy Era

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background 131I‐metaiodobenzylguanidine (131I‐MIBG) radiotherapy is a key treatment for relapsed and refractory (R/R) neuroblastoma (NB). Patients with R/R disease treated in the modern era are increasingly exposed to anti‐GD2 immunotherapy, which exerts selective pressure and may modify both tumor cell state and microenvironment.

Univalence Conditions Related to a General Integral Operator

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
We consider a general integral operator based on two types of analytic functions, namely, regular functions and, respectively, functions having a positive real part. Some univalence conditions for this integral operator are obtained.

Hospitalization Through Families’ Eyes: Comparing Inpatient Care Quality for Children With Sickle Cell Disease and Cystic Fibrosis in Canada

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a chronic, inherited hemoglobinopathy that requires frequent hospitalization for disease‐related complications. Canadian data on inpatient care is limited. This study compared caregiver‐reported hospital experiences of children with SCD to those with cystic fibrosis (CF), a chronic, autosomal recessive ...

Approximation of analytic functions by generalized shifts of the Lerch zeta-function

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis
In the paper, we approximate analytic functions by generalized shifts of the Lerch zeta-function, where g is a certain increasing to real function having a monotonic derivative. We prove that, for arbitrary parameters λ and α, there exists a closed set

New Properties of Complex Functions with Mean Value Conditions

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2011
We apply mollifiers to study the properties of real functions which satisfy mean value conditions and present new equivalent conditions for complex analytic functions. New properties of complex functions with mean value conditions are given.

Some Results on Important Inequalities for Univalent Functions with Positive and Negative Coefficients

open access: yesDüzce Üniversitesi Bilim ve Teknoloji Dergisi, 2023
As it is known from Real Analysis, inequalities are used to give the definition of many mathematical concepts formally and to analyze them analytically.

Localization for uniform algebras generated by real-analytic functions [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 2017
It is shown that if A A is a uniform algebra generated by real-analytic functions on a suitable compact subset

Venous Thromboembolism in Pediatric Bone Sarcoma Patients: A 10‐Year, Single‐Institution Experience Encompassing the COVID‐19 Pandemic

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Osteosarcoma (OS) and Ewing sarcoma (EWS) are the most common primary bone cancers in children, but acute thrombosis is poorly characterized in this population. Our study evaluated the rates of venous thromboembolism (VTE) and associated risk factors in pediatric patients with bone sarcomas treated over a 10‐year period encompassing

Applications of Certain p-Valently Analytic Functions

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
In this paper, a new operator Dsf, with s a real number, is defined considering functions that belong to the known class of p-valent analytic functions in the open unit disk U.

Serological Benefit of SARS‐CoV‐2 Vaccination Relative to Infection in Children With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.
