Study of simply connected convex domain and its geometric properties (II)

open access: yesJournal of Taibah University for Science, 2019
In this paper, making use of a new integral operator defined in the open unit disk we introduce and study a new class of simply connected convex domain of analytic and univalent functions.

A characterization of real analytic functions

open access: yesProceedings of the Japan Academy, Series A, Mathematical Sciences, 1960
The author proves the following theorem: Let \(D\) be a domain in \(\mathbb R^n\) and let \(A\) be an elliptic differential operator of order \(m\) with constant coefficients. Then \(f\in L_{\text{loc}}^2(D)\) is analytic in \(D\) if and only if for every \(k\), \(A^k f \in L_{\text{loc}}^2(D)\), and for every compact subset \(K\subset D\) there exist ...

Supporting Survivor‐Centered Care Through Digital Health Integration

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Survivors of childhood cancer face barriers to receiving guideline‐based, long‐term follow‐up care. Two digital tools, Passport for Care (PFC) and Cancer SurvivorLink (SurvivorLink), address complementary gaps by enabling tailored survivorship care plan (SCP) generation, updating, storage, and sharing.

Efficacy and Safety Analysis of Roxarestat in Regulating Renal Anemia in Patients on Maintenance Hemodialysis

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of roxarestat versus recombinant human erythropoietin (rhEPO) in the management of renal anemia in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis. Methods This was a prospective, open‐label, randomized controlled trial.

Therapeutic Apheresis for Intravenous Methylprednisolone‐Refractory Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder: Clinical and Radiological Outcomes in a Single‐Center Case Series

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.

Second Hankel Determinants for the Class of Typically Real Functions

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2016
We discuss the Hankel determinants H2(n)=anan+2-an+12 for typically real functions, that is, analytic functions which satisfy the condition Im ⁡z Im⁡f(z)≥0 in the unit disk Δ. Main results are concerned with H2(2) and H2(3).

Infection Control Practices for Vascular Access Management in Hemodialysis: Results From a Nationwide Survey of Japanese National University Hospitals

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Bloodstream infections due to repeated vascular access (VA) puncture and circuit connections remain major concerns in hemodialysis. Therefore, we examined current practices for glove, disinfectant, and personal protective equipment (PPE) use according to VA type in national university hospitals in Japan.

A NOTE ON WRONSKIANS OF REAL ANALYTIC FUNCTIONS

open access: yesFar East Journal of Mathematical Education, 2019
We study three analytic functions that have constant Wronskians in pairs and establish a result for their linear dependence. The result is based on an undergraduate project and can be understood by a senior undergraduate student with an elementary background of analysis and linear algebra.

Therapeutic Apheresis in Nigeria: A Multi‐Center Summary of Abstracts From the Inaugural Nigerian Society for Apheresis Scientific Meeting

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Therapeutic apheresis (TA) is an established treatment modality for hematologic, neurologic, and immunologic disorders, yet access remains severely limited in sub‐Saharan Africa. Donor apheresis, including platelet apheresis collection from healthy donors, represents an important complementary modality supporting blood product ...
