Mixing Graphics and Compute for Real-Time Multiview Human Body Tracking
2014This paper presents an effective algorithm for 3D model-based human motion tracking using a GPU-accelerated particle swarm optimization. The tracking involves configuring the 3D human model in the pose described by each particle and then rasterizing it in each camera view.

Real-Time Connectivity Constrained Depth Map Computation Using Programmable Graphics Hardware
2005 IEEE Computer Society Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR'05), 2005This paper presents a passive depth map computation algorithm which runs entirely on programmable 3D graphics hardware at real-time speed. Previous implementations relied on the use of either mipmapping or correlation windows to increase the robustness of the calculated depth map.

<title>Real Time Computer Graphics From Body Motion</title>
SPIE Proceedings, 1983This paper focuses on the recent emergence and development of real, time, computer-aided body tracking technologies and their use in combination with various computer graphics imaging techniques. The convergence of these, technologies in our research results, in an interactive display environment.

This is the report of some applications of human-computer interaction about experimental performances of multimedia interactive arts. The human performer and the computer systems perform computer graphics and computer music interactively in real-time. As the technical point of view, this paper is intended as an investigation of some special approaches :
