Real-time Sar Processing At DLR
SBMO International Microwave Conference/Brazil,, 2005This paper presents the conceptual design of the high resolution, real-time SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) processor for the experimental SAR-System of DLR. The new technique used in the real-time processor and the preliminary results are also presented.

Layering of real-time distributed processes
1994An assertional proof system is proposed for a shared variable language extended with real-time constructs and synchronization, and a layering operator. The proof system is used to check real-time side conditions for an extended Communication Closed Layers rule. Reversely, this rule extends the scope of applicability of the proof system.

Real time information processing I
Proceedings of the 1962 ACM national conference on Digest of technical papers -, 1962AT THE IBM SPACE GUIDANCE CENTER, a Simulation Laboratory is connected to an IBM 7090 DPS via a direct data connection. In addition to its Simulation Laboratory functions, the 7090 is used by the Analysis and Computation Center to solve engineering problems, to compile and checkout system computer programs, and to process other various types of ...

Real-time models of morphogenetic processes
Experientia, 1988Morphological transformations are often describable by simple series kinetic models, A----B, A----B----C, etc., which allow assessment of the rates of interconversion of the distinguishable shapes or forms present and their probabilities of occurrence at various points in time, thus providing a means for kinetic comparisons with biochemical ...

Real time information processing II
Proceedings of the 1962 ACM national conference on Digest of technical papers -, 1962THE PASSING OF TIME, which is a familiar experience to all of us as individuals, also represents an important frame of reference for the scholastic endeavors. Speculations concerning the nature of time have an ancient and honorable history in many areas of understanding, particularly in philosophy, physics, and the more mathematically oriented sciences.

Real-time Incremental Processing
2015The features and the modelling methods used in this thesis have been selected with the goal of on-line processing in mind, however, most of them are all general methods that are suitable both for on-line and off-line processing. This section deals specifically with the issues encountered in on-line (aka incremental) processing, such as segmentation ...

The meaning of real-time depends on the application, however, it usually implies that processing is performed quickly with respect to the dynamics of the system under consideration. When estimating motion for autonomous navigation, there are two constraints that define the meaning of 'real-time'.

Distributed Real-Time Processing
1986Design issues raised by the achievement of safeness, liveness and timeliness properties for distributed real-time computing systems are first investigated. This is accomplished through an overview of problems and known solutions related to faults/intrusions, variable delays, concurrency, global physical time, process scheduling and through an ...
