On the total curvature of tropical hypersurfaces [PDF]
This paper studies the curvatures of amoebas and real amoebas (i.e. essentially logarithmic curvatures of the complex and real parts of a real algebraic hypersurface) and of tropical and real tropical hypersurfaces. If V is a tropical hypersurface defined over the field of real Puiseux series, it has a real part RV which is a polyhedral complex.

Singular Levi-flat hypersurfaces and codimension one foliations [PDF]
We study Levi-flat real analytic hypersurfaces with singularities. We prove that the Levi foliation on the regular part of the hypersurface can be holomorphically extended, in a suitable sense, to neighbourhoods of singular points.

The jet transcendence degree of a real hypersurface and Huang-Ji-Yau Conjecture [PDF]
We investigate the problem of holomorphic algebraizibility for real hypersurfaces in complex space. We introduce a new invariant of a (real-analytic) Levi-nondegenerate hypersurface called {\em the jet transcendence degree}. Using this invariant, we solve in the negative the Conjecture of Huang, Ji and Yau on the algabraizability of real hypersurfaces ...

What is the total Betti number of a random real hypersurface? [PDF]
We bound from above the expected total Betti number of a high degree random real hypersurface in a smooth real projective manifold. This upper bound is deduced from the equirepartition of critical points of a real Lefschetz pencil restricted to the complex domain of such a random hypersurface, equirepartition which we first establish.
