Real-time Spectroscopy with Sub-GHz Resolution using Amplified Dispersive Fourier Transformation
Dispersive Fourier transformation is a powerful technique in which spectral information is mapped into the time domain using chromatic dispersion. It replaces a spectrometer with an electronic digitizer, and enables real-time spectroscopy.

Neuronal imaging with ultrahigh dynamic range multiphoton microscopy [PDF]
Multiphoton microscopes are hampered by limited dynamic range, preventing weak sample features from being detected in the presence of strong features, or preventing the capture of unpredictable bursts in sample strength.

Real power loss minimization using interior point method
Abstract An efficient predictor–corrector primal–dual interior point method (IPM) is applied to reactive power optimization. A linear model is introduced in which control variables and voltage increments are linked by a modified Jacobian matrix, and transmission losses are represented as a function of voltage increments.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

ENHANCED SPIDER ALGORITHM FOR MINIMIZATION OF REAL POWER LOSS
In this paper Enhanced Spider (ES) algorithm is proposed to solve reactive power Problem. Enthused by the spiders, a new Enhanced Spider (ES) algorithm is utilized to solve reactive power problem. The composition is primarily based on the foraging approach of social spiders, which make use of of the vibrations spread over the spider web to choose the ...
