Receptor-mediated endocytosis and lysosomal transport
1992Abstract Endocytosis is the process by which cells internalize their plasma membrane together with molecules adsorbed to the plasma membrane, fluid from the extracellular medium, and solutes dissolved in this fluid. Most cell types perform this process to greater or lesser extents.
