Recharge stations: A review

2016 Eleventh International Conference on Ecological Vehicles and Renewable Energies (EVER), 2016
Charging equipment for all-Electric Vehicles (EVs) is classified by the rate at which the batteries are charged. Charging times vary based on how depleted the battery is, how much energy it holds, the type of battery, and the type of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). In this paper, a review of the innovative charging stations is reported.

Decentralized Assignment for Intelligent Electric Vehicles to Recharge Stations

2014 UKSim-AMSS 16th International Conference on Computer Modelling and Simulation, 2014
In this paper the problem of assigning electric cars to charging stations in a distributed manner is addressed, resorting to Lagrangian-based distributed algorithms. Within such algorithms, the routing process is the result of a cooperation among several decision makers, having each one a local knowledge of the system. The decision makers are in charge

Equitable distribution of recharging stations for electric vehicles

Socio-Economic Planning Sciences, 2018
Abstract Given the limited driving range of battery electric vehicles and lack of sufficient charging infrastructure, locating charging stations is an important decision problem to enable long-distance travels by battery electric vehicles. This paper considers an important political factor in such location problems: the equitable access to charging ...

Automated Recharging Station for Swarm of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

Volume 1: Advances in Aerospace Technology, 2012
Automated maintenance has become a necessity for UAV systems to allow human operators to concentrate on higher-level tasks. By reducing the need for a human interaction, such systems could be set to function in remote environments for an extended period of time and take care of a higher number of vehicles.
