Selecting optimal location for electric recharging stations with queue

open access: yesKSCE Journal of Civil Engineering, 2015
Dominance of fossil fuels in the transportation sector has led to environmental and economical problems and transition to Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) has become a necessity. Electric Vehicle (EV) is one of the AFVs that deliver clear benefit of zero tailpipe emissions.

Design and simulation of a fast DC recharging station for EV [PDF]

open access: yes2017 IEEE 6th International Conference on Renewable Energy Research and Applications (ICRERA), 2017
In this paper a detailed description of the design and simulation of a DC ultra-fast recharging station for Electric Vehicles is carried out. The system consist of a single AC/DC grid connected inverter, a DC-Bus and two DC/DC converter to recharge the batteries of the EVs. The system also has the vehicle-to-grid (V2G) capability.

Optimal Recharging Strategy for Battery-Switch Stations for Electric Vehicles in France [PDF]

open access: yesSSRN Electronic Journal, 2012
Most papers that study the recharging of electric vehicles focus on charging the batteries at home and at the work-place. The alternative is for owners to exchange the battery at a specially equipped battery switch station (BSS). This paper studies strategies for the BSS to buy and sell the electricity through the day-ahead market.

Investigation of Electrolyte Salts in Non‐Flammable Triethyl Phosphate for Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2025.
This study evaluates five sodium electrolyte salts (NaBF₄, NaClO₄, NaDFOB, NaFSI, NaPF₆) in triethyl phosphate (TEP) for sodium‐ion full‐cells, focusing on their physicochemical properties, solvation structure, and electrochemical performance. The addition of 1 wt.% vinylene carbonate (VC) improves cycling performance, with NaFSI demonstrating 88 ...
