Dietary Berberine Reduced Oxido‐Inflammatory Stress in Rats' Livers and Kidneys, Supplemented from Prepuberty to Adulthood

open access: yesChemFoodChem, EarlyView.
Berberine (BER) demonstrates significant protective effects on the hepatorenal system in rats, mediated through various cellular and molecular mechanisms spanning from the prepubertal stage through adulthood. These mechanisms encompass antioxidant, anti‐inflammatory, and anti‐apoptotic activities, in addition to modulation of essential signalling ...

Arabidopsis AUGMIN8 Contains Two Independent Microtubule Association Domains

open access: yesCytoskeleton, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Plant cells create a plasma membrane‐associated network of microtubules that are nucleated by γ‐tubulin ring complexes primarily through microtubule‐dependent microtubule nucleation (MDMN). This dynamic array organizes into specific patterns in response to developmental and environmental cues to influence primary cell wall construction.

TFE3‐Rearranged PEComa(‐Like Neoplasm) of the Chest Wall Diagnosed by Fine‐Needle Aspiration: A Case Report

open access: yesDiagnostic Cytopathology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We report a rare TFE3‐rearranged perivascular epithelioid cell tumor (PEComa) of the parasternal chest wall diagnosed preoperatively by fine‐needle aspiration (FNA) cytology. The smears and cell block showed epithelioid cells with clear to granular cytoplasm and prominent nucleoli.

Dental development in the tropical gar (Atractosteus tropicus) and the evolution of vertebrate dentitions

open access: yesDevelopmental Dynamics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Dentitions have diversified enormously during vertebrate evolution, involving reductions, modifications, or allocations to prey seizing and processing regions. A combination of ancient and novel features related to dental and oropharyngeal apparatuses is found in extant lineages of non‐teleost fishes, such as the gars.

Intestinal microbiome alterations in pediatric epilepsy: Implications for seizures and therapeutic approaches

open access: yesEpilepsia Open, EarlyView.
Abstract The intestinal microbiome plays a pivotal role in maintaining host health through its involvement in gastrointestinal, immune, and central nervous system (CNS) functions. Recent evidence underscores the bidirectional communication between the microbiota, the gut, and the brain and the impact of this axis on neurological diseases, including ...

Gut Microbiota‐Bile Acid Metabolism Axis Drive Anti‐Diabetic Effects of Polygonatum cyrtonema Polysaccharide on Glycolipid Metabolism and Intestinal Inflammation

open access: yesFood Frontiers, EarlyView.
PCP‐80% could lessen the pathophysiology of T2DM in terms of controlling blood glucose/lipid levels and enhancing intestinal barrier function, via modulating the intricate web of intestinal microbiota/BAs/BAs signaling pathways. Red vertical arrows denote increases (HPCP‐80% vs. MC), blue vertical arrows indicate decreases (HPCP‐80% vs.
