A swelling‐programmed micropatterned hydrogel guides adherent cells through a controlled transition from cell–matrix anchoring to cadherin‐mediated cell–cell compaction, enabling rapid assembly of high‐viability spheroids with defined size and morphology.

Implications of Trust, Fear, and Reciprocity for Modeling Economic Behavior [PDF]
This paper reports three experiments with triadic or dyadic designs. The experiments include the moonlighting game in which first-mover actions can elicit positively or negatively reciprocal reactions from second movers.

In situ Auger Electron Spectroscopy resolves oxidation states with high fidelity during the pulsed laser deposition of multivalent perovskite manganate and vanadate heterostructures. The chemical‐state signature is carried by the valence‐electron population of the transition‐metal cation, read out through the relative intensities of Auger fine ...

The Impact of Social Comparisons on Reciprocity [PDF]
We investigate the effects of pay comparison information (i.e. information about what co-workers earn) and effort comparison information (information about how co-workers perform) in experimental firms composed of one employer and two employees. Exposure

Review of reciprocity measurement theory and its applications in ship mechanical-acoustic systems
With increasing demands for enhanced ship stealth performance and onboard comfort, precise quantification of vibro-acoustic characteristics in complex ship systems is critical for optimizing structural acoustic design and reducing radiated noise ...

Omnipolar Magnetic Field Detection by Superlattice‐Based Hall Sensor
Magnetic‐field‐induced electronic switching is demonstrated in unit‐cell‐engineered La0.7Sr0.3MnO3–BiFeO3 superlattices. Distinct substrate terminations modify magnetic and transport properties. Hall resistance measurements show omnipolar, hysteretic anomalous Hall switching above the Curie temperature, arising from Fe─Mn interfacial exchange, enabling

Reciprocity and Resistance to Comprehensive Reform [PDF]
Comprehensive reforms often fail or become piecemeal during preparatory phase of the legislation. A promising candidate to explain the failure of comprehensive reforms is vote trading on a subset of individual bills included in the original comprehensive

Spatially Modulated Morphotropic Phase Boundaries in a Compressively Strained Multiferroic Thin Film
ABSTRACT The coexisting rhombohedral‐like (R′, MA) and tetragonal‐like (T′, MC) monoclinic phases in compressively strained bismuth ferrite thin films exhibit exceptional piezoelectric and magnetic properties. While previous studies have largely focused on probing the morphotropic phase boundaries (MPBs) comprising ordered R′/T′ twins, their self ...

Indirect Reciprocity and Strategic Reputation Building in an Experimental Helping Game [PDF]
We study indirect reciprocity and strategic reputation building in an experimental helping game. At any time only half of the subjects can build a reputation.

The nanostructure, size, and function of mRNA‐loaded lipid nanoparticles are evaluated before drying, within polymer microneedles, and after rehydration. The results reveal the polymer and LNP loadings required to recover nanostructure and preserve the delivery performance in dry‐state formulations.
