Recognizing Textual Entailment Using a Machine Learning Approach

open access: yes, 2010
We present our experiments on Recognizing Textual Entailment based on modeling the entailment relation as a classification problem. As features used to classify the entailment pairs we use a symmetric similarity measure and a non-symmetric similarity measure.

LLM‐Integrated Human–Robot Interaction System for Microrobots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This paper proposes an LLM‐based control framework for guiding microrobots using human natural language. This framework can convert the natural human speech into safe and executable command sets for reliable navigation in complex environments. The experimental results show high accuracy and robustness in task performance, demonstrating the potential of

The Sixth PASCAL Recognizing Textual Entailment Challenge

open access: yes, 2010
This paper presents the Sixth Recognizing Textual Entailment (RTE-6) challenge. This year a major innovation was introduced, as the traditional Main Task was replaced by a new task, similar to the RTE-5 Search Pilot, in which Textual Entailment is ...

A Study of Textual Entailment

open access: yes, 2007
In this paper we study a graph-based approach to the task of Recognizing Textual Entailment between a Text and a Hypothesis. The approach takes into account the full lexico-syntactic context of both the Text and Hypothesis and is based on the concept of ...

Gut Microbiota Regulates Systemic Inflammatory Response and Compensatory Anti‐Inflammatory Response Syndromes by Targeting PF4+ Macrophages in Acute Pancreatitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Acute pancreatitis (AP) begins with pancreatic local inflammation, leading to the onset of systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS), followed by compensatory anti‐inflammatory response syndrome (CARS), which causes immune paralysis and higher mortality rate.

Cold Orthogonal Translation: A Psychrophilic Pyrrolysyl‐tRNA Synthetase Boosts Genetic Code Expansion in E. coli

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Orthogonal translation systems (OTSs) enable site‐specific incorporation of non‐canonical amino acids (ncAAs) and are central to genetic code expansion. Current engineering strategies typically rely on hyperstable aminoacyl tRNA synthetase (aaRS) scaffolds to tolerate destabilizing mutations required for substrate diversification.

Inferring textual entailment with a probabilistically sound calculus

open access: yes, 2009
We introduce a system for textual entailment that is based on a probabilistic model of entailment. The model is defined using a calculus of transformations on dependency trees, which is characterized by the fact that derivations in that calculus preserve
