Recognizing Textual Inference in Mongolian Bar Exam Questions

open access: yesApplied Sciences
This paper examines how to apply deep learning techniques to Mongolian bar exam questions. Several approaches that utilize eight different fine-tuned transformer models were demonstrated for recognizing textual inference in Mongolian bar exam questions ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

The role of sentence structure in recognizing textual entailment [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the ACL-PASCAL Workshop on Textual Entailment and Paraphrasing - RTE '07, 2007
Recent research suggests that sentence structure can improve the accuracy of recognizing textual entailments and paraphrasing. Although background knowledge such as gazetteers, WordNet and custom built knowledge bases are also likely to improve performance, our goal in this paper is to characterize the syntactic features alone that aid in accurate ...

The ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy as guardians of the cellular proteome

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This Perspective covers the three principles governing the crosstalk between the ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy in cellular proteostasis: (1) a shared ubiquitin code routing substrates via shuttle factors or autophagy receptors; (2) spatial compartmentalization into phase‐separated degradation hubs and organelle‐specific modules (exemplified

An unexpected alternative viologen electron mediator site in tungsten‐containing formate dehydrogenase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

Recognizing Textual Entailment in Indonesian Using Individual Biplet Head-Dependent and Multi-Head Attention Mechanism

open access: yesIEEE Access
Recognizing Textual Entailment (RTE) has become essential to determine inferential relationships between sentences in text-understanding systems. Traditionally, RTE models have addressed textual inferences at both syntactic and semantic levels.

Microbiome−host proteostasis crosstalk—An emerging perspective on mechanisms and interventions toward healthy longevity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Proteostasis and the gut microbiota play a key role in shaping host physiology. Microbiota‐derived metabolites, vitamins, and RNA modulate host proteostasis. Findings from model systems, including C. elegans, indicate microbes can either stabilize or disrupt host proteostasis.

Optimizing textual entailment recognition using particle swarm optimization

open access: yes, 2009
This paper introduces a new method to improve tree edit distance approach to textual entailment recognition, using particle swarm optimization. Currently, one of the main constraints of recognizing textual entailment using tree edit distance is to ...
