Single Cell and Spatial Transcriptomics Define a Proinflammatory and Profibrotic Niche After Kidney Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By integrating single‐cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics, tenascin C (TNC) is unveiled as a central organizer of the proinflammatory and profibrotic niche in kidney fibrosis. TNC promotes macrophage activation through TLR4/NF‐κB signaling, leading to renal inflammation and fibrosis.

Histone Lactylation‐Driven Upregulation of VRK1 Expression Promotes Stemness and Proliferation of Glioma Stem Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most aggressive primary brain tumor, with glioma stem cells (GSCs) driving treatment resistance. This study reveals that lactate promotes histone lactylation (H3K18la) at the VRK1 promoter, regulating GSC stemness and proliferation via the H3K18la/VRK1/YBX1/SOX2 pathway. The VRK1‐targeted nanoliposome A/TMZ‐siVRK1 demonstrates

Publisher Summary Plasmids are widely used as vectors and methods of their isolation can vary depending upon the host organism. On the basis of phenotypic effect and organization in the chromosomes, genes can be subdivided into various groups, such as simple genes, complex genes, operons, regulons, and multiple regulons.
