Banwidth Reconfigurable Filtering Antenna
Wireless Personal Communications, 2019A microstrip bandwidth reconfigurable filtering antenna is implemented by simply tuning the transmission zeroes. The proposed filtering antenna is developed by integrating the filter characteristics into the 50 Ω microstrip feed line of the antenna through two independent coupled resonators.

Reconfigurable Antenna Simulation: Design of Reconfigurable Antennas with Electromagnetic Simulation
IEEE Microwave Magazine, 2013This article describes how state-of-the-art electromagnetic simulation tools can be used to simulate and optimize the complex geometries and system behavior of reconfigurable antennas. While a short overview of the main principles of reconfigurability is given, this is not the main focus of this article, and far more extensive reviews of reconfigurable

Reconfigurable Antennas: Design and Applications
Proceedings of the IEEE, 2015The advancement in wireless communications requires the integration of multiple radios into a single platform to maximize connectivity. In this paper, the design process of reconfigurable antennas is discussed. Reconfigurable antennas are proposed to cover different wireless services that operate over a wide frequency range.

Reconfigurable Antenna Design for nanosatellites
2012 IEEE First AESS European Conference on Satellite Telecommunications (ESTEL), 2012Innovative Antenna Design has recently become as one of most vital subsystem of Satellite Communication. In small satellites however, this subsystem is often overlooked, either due to consideration of weight or available space. Using traditional design approach is not feasible and does not offer any significant benefits. With increasing availability of

Novel Reconfigurable Microstrip Antenna
2008 IEEE Region 10 and the Third international Conference on Industrial and Information Systems, 2008A microstrip square patch antenna is designed and analyzed with re configurability in frequency and polarization. The patch contains two orthogonal slots and two rectangular patches added across the length and width. The diversity in frequency and polarization is achieved through the use of PIN diodes.

MEMS-based reconfigurable antennas
2004 IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics, 2004In this paper, two frequency reconfigurable antennas using the ON/OFF states of a microelectromechanical system (MEMS), are presented. A multifrequency planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) is designed with a L-shaped open slot upon its main plate. As a proof-of-principle, an ON state RF MEMS switch, modeled by a piece of copper (1x1 mm/sup 2/), is inserted

Frequency reconfigurable active antenna
2014 International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation Conference Proceedings, 2014The objective is to design a frequency reconfigurable active antenna which involves the integration of active device such as FET with a passive structure. Here the dual port dual band antenna is independently designed and later connected to one port amplifier using matching network.

MEMS-switched reconfigurable antennas
IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium. 2001 Digest. Held in conjunction with: USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting (Cat. No.01CH37229), 2002The integration and use of RF MEMS switches in microstrip patch antennas and feed structures were investigated for developing reconfigurable multi-band antennas. The current application focuses on the development of a dual L/X-band antenna that would support several satellite or UAV-based communications and radar applications such as SAR, terrain ...
