Wearable Reconfigurable Antenna
2021Printed antennas are designed for various applications in recent years. The latest development of antennas are wearable antennas; these wearable antennas are playing a major role in the energy harvesting mechanisms, patient monitoring systems, and military applications. In this chapter a reconfigurable wearable antenna is proposed.

Reconfigurable Vivaldi antenna
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2010AbstractA reconfigurable Vivaldi antenna is presented. It has a capability to operate in a wideband mode (2–8 GHz) and three different sub‐bands (2.5, 5, and 7.5 GHz) by reconfiguring the antenna geometry. The measurement results with ideal switches demonstrate the performances of the proposed designs.

Reconfigurable printed antennas
IETE Journal of Research, 2013AbstractThe concept of reconfigurability in antennas and their types are discussed in detail in this paper. Novel reconfigurable antenna structures for modern wireless communication application are presented. PIN diodes that are biased with on-board biasing circuitry are used to achieve reconfigurability in these antennas.

Planar reconfigurable antennas
2006 First European Conference on Antennas and Propagation, 2006In this paper it is shown that planar reconfigurable antennas can cover a wide range of designs such as fractal antennas, triangular antennas, monopole, dipoles, log-periodic etc. Some of these designs can also be used to yield tunable electrically small antennas for miniature wireless device applications.

New architectures for microelectromechanical system (MEMS) reconfigurable Vee-antennas and RF switches are presented. The planar antenna structure can be dynamically reconfigured to steer the radiation beam or change the shape of the beam using electrically-controlled microactuators. The radiation patterns and antenna impedance were investigated with a

Reconfigurable Semiconductor Antenna
2007 9th International Conference - The Experience of Designing and Applications of CAD Systems in Microelectronics, 2007The results of investigation of the semiconductor antenna with electronically reconfigurable aperture has been presented in this paper. The semiconductor antenna means that the antenna utilizes the semiconductor as a substrate, which parameters can be varied. The key element of the reconfigurable antenna is a surface PIN (SPIN) diode whose conductivity

Wirelessly reconfigurable antenna
2015 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2015In this paper, we describe a reconfigurable antenna with switches on the antenna elements that are powered wirelessly, by the antenna itself. Control signals for individual switches are part of the antenna transmission. We describe the theory of operation and provide simulation results for a three-element parasitic dipole antenna array with two ...
