A flexible, hexagonally packed artificial dielectric providing a wide range of effective permittivities (εr ≈ 30–1400) without lumped elements was developed for clinical and ultra‐high‐field MRI. Combined with modular passive‐dipole arrays, the system enables adaptable RF field shaping through electric‐ and magnetic‐dipole tuning.

A Magnetic‐Driven Self‐Rotation‐Stabilized Miniature Swimming Robot
Inspired by the stable rotational descent of seeds in nature, this study designs a magnetic‐driven self‐rotation‐stabilized miniature swimming robot (MSMSR). Based on a resonance‐driven strategy, the robot exhibits high swimming performance, offering enhanced directional swimming and improved resistance to water flow disturbances compared to existing ...

Bridging Horizontal to Vertical Radiative Cooling
Radiative cooling materials are mature but only work facing the sky, confining them to rooftops. Instead of developing new ones, this system bridges existing horizontal coolers to vertical windows using blades outside the glass. On an occupied urban building, windows stay up to 1.4°C below air temperature while preserving daylight, outward views, and ...

Programmable Sequential 4D Actuation in Multistable Kirigami Metamaterials
This study presents a modular kirigami metamaterial framework enabling programmable multistability and sequential 4D actuation. By coupling geometry‐controlled multistability with material‐dependent recovery kinetics, spatiotemporal deformation can be precisely programmed.

A Thickness‐Invariant Origami Robot With Integrated Actuation and Multimodal Locomotion
A thickness‐invariant variation on the Yoshimura origami pattern is used as the basis of a robot, allowing power, actuation, and control systems to be embedded within the thickened panels of the pattern. The robot uses multiple kinematic branches to achieve distinct modes of locomotion, such as walking, running, galloping, and turning. ABSTRACT Origami

This paper reveals internal resonance mismatch‐controlled dissipative bistability collapse in a coupled micromechanical resonator. Tuning δIR changes both internal‐mode amplitude and phase‐dependent feedback. For negative mismatch, Duffing bistability survives.
