Radiographical Duplication of Radiographs [PDF]

open access: yes, 1958
The Thesis describes a new method of duplicating X-ray negatives. It was prompted by the need to acquire for teaching purposes, radiographs of oral and facial conditions which are rarely seen in a purely dental school.

A Survey Paper on Secure Cloud De-Duplication Systems

open access: yes, 2017
With the unstable development of computerized information, de-duplication procedures are generally utilized to reinforcement information and minimize system and capacity overhead by recognizing and taking out excess among information. Rather than keeping

Large‐scale bidirectional arrayed genetic screens identify OXR1 and EMC4 as modifiers of αSynuclein aggregation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Efficient and Effective Filtering of Duplication Detection in Large Database Applications

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, a robust filtering technique, called PC-Filter (PC stands for partition comparison), is proposed for effective and efficient duplicate record detection in large databases.

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Duplication of Recording Accomplishments Within the South Carolina Forestry Commission Project Foresters' Reporting System [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
This project takes a look at the six different ways that Project Foresters of the South Carolina Forestry Commission record their data for reports. The research seeks to show how to best streamline the process for less overlap, duplication, and errors in

Pharmacological inhibition of the PERK pathway modulates hepatocellular carcinoma growth and immune signaling

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Risk Prediction Models for Recurrence After Curative Treatment of Early‐Stage or Locally Advanced Lung Cancer: A Systematic Review

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
This systematic review synthesizes prognostic models for survival and recurrence in resected non‐small cell lung cancer. While many models demonstrate moderate to good discrimination, few are externally validated and reporting quality is variable, limiting clinical applicability and highlighting the need for robust, transparent model development ...
