Cracking the Code: Genotype–Phenotype Correlation Models in Sarcoglycanopathies
ABSTRACT Objective Sarcoglycanopathies are among the most severe limb‐girdle muscular dystrophies (LGMD), though milder presentations have been described. These diseases are primarily caused by missense variants, but the limited predictability of their effect on protein maturation, complex formation, and transport has hindered reliable genotype ...

Spectral domain analysis of double screen frequency selective surfaces
This paper presents a numerical investigation for a double screen frequency selective surface (FSS) with perfectly conducting rectangular patch elements. The analysis uses a full wave technique to obtain the scattering characteristics.

When optimizing the directivity and energy characteristics of the antennas with flat reflectors and the leaky -wave antennas, high-speed computational algorithms are required for a reliable analysis of the diffraction of electromagnetic waves on a conducting screen, accounting for the inhomogeneities with the dimensions commensurate with the wavelength.

Planar Solid‐State Nanopores Toward Scalable Nanofluidic Integration Based on CMOS Technology
We present a scalable silicon‐based fabrication strategy for planar solid‐state nanopores to enable their integration with complex nanofluidic systems. Prototype devices demonstrate normal voltage‐current characteristics, good noise performance, and appreciable streaming currents. Our CMOS‐compatible fabrication process offers precise geometric control

Emulating Human Developmental Stages with Bayesian Neural Networks [PDF]
We compare the acquisition of knowledge in humans and machines. Research from the field of developmental psychology indicates, that human-employed hypothesis are initially guided by simple rules, before evolving into more complex theories.

The corrosion performance of AlSi7Mg and AlSi10Mg alloys produced through selective laser melting (SLM) was examined under compressive stress in a chloride environment. Electrochemical analyses, including open‐circuit potential (OCP), potentiodynamic polarization (CPP), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), were complemented by scanning ...

Optimized mobile thin clients through a MPEG-4 BiFS semantic remote display framework [PDF]
According to the thin client computing principle, the user interface is physically separated from the application logic. In practice only a viewer component is executed on the client device, rendering the display updates received from the distant ...

Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing
