Large‐Area Printed PEDOT:PSS Shielding and Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) on Textiles

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 13, Issue 15, 4 August 2026.
An all‐polymer e‐textile frequency selective surface (FSS) can present controlled shielding, presenting a competitive alternative to metal‐based inks. The results show how PEDOT: PSS‐based e‐textiles could be applied in RF devices for future wearable applications.

Interplay Between Bound State in the Continuum and the Generalized Kerker Effect in Plasmonic Metasurfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 8, August 2026.
A plasmonic metasurface comprising gold cylinders of tailored dimensions exhibits simultaneously the generalized Kerker effect and a bound state in the continuum, allowing for a detailed study of the subtle interplay between these phenomena. The numerical simulation results are in good agreement with experimental measurements, and the underlying ...

Etch‐Less Nanostructures for Photoluminescence Modification From Plasma‐Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition‐Grown Silicon Nanocrystals

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 8, August 2026.
The luminescence from Si‐nanocrystals embedded in a waveguide layer is strongly modified by a shallow photo resist grating on top, which is fabricated by large area laser interference lithography. Guided mode resonances and quasi bound states in the continuum lead to increased upward coupling of radiation, which are also used to experimentally map the ...

Unidirectional Evaporation‐Induced Tunable and Continuous Gradient Composite Structure for Absorption‐Dominant Electromagnetic Interference Shielding

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 45, 13 August 2026.
A continuous conductivity gradient is formed in a porous MXene/melamine foam via directional evaporation, thereby improving impedance matching and enhancing electromagnetic attenuation. The resulting monolithic composite delivers absorption‐dominant EMI shielding with ultralow reflection, offering a simple route toward lightweight EMI shielding ...

A Kinetic–Energetic Bottleneck of Charge‐Transfer Injection Governs Energy Loss in Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 16, Issue 30, 12 August 2026.
Kinetic–energetic projection of time‐resolved photoluminescence reveals that charge‐transfer injection acts as a universal bottleneck in organic solar cells. A physics‐constrained Bayesian framework identifies an emergent effective CT injection rate governing the trade‐off between charge generation and nonradiative energy loss.

Ag‐Assisted Interfacial Assembly of 2D/0D/2D Ti3C2Tx/Ag@g‐C3N4 Films With Synergistic Electromagnetic Interference Shielding and Thermal Management

open access: yesEcoMat, Volume 8, Issue 8, August 2026.
Lightweight 2D/0D/2D Ti3C2Tx/Ag@g‐C3N4 composite films are fabricated via an Ag‐assisted self‐assembly strategy to construct abundant heterogeneous interfaces. Benefiting from a continuous conductive network and Ag‐bridged interfaces, the films exhibit high EMI shielding effectiveness, low infrared emissivity, and rapid low‐voltage Joule heating.
