FXYD3 Promotes Tumor Progression by Binding With IRF7 to Regulate JAK2/STAT5 Signaling in Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
FXYD3 binds IRF7 via its 60–87aa domain, triggering a cGAS/STING‐mediated positive feedback loop amplified by type I interferon. This sustains JAK2/STAT5 activation, accelerating ICC progression. Targeting FXYD3 with siFXYD3@PEP suppresses tumors and enhances chemotherapy sensitivity. Abstract Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) has a poor prognosis,

Aloe‐Emodin Targeting FOXC2 Disrupts NETs Formation and EMT‐Driven Postoperative Peritoneal Adhesion Through TGF‐β1‐Smad2/3 Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Forkhead box protein C2 (FOXC2) is highlighted as a pivotal effector in postoperative peritoneal adhesion (PPA) formation. Mechanically, FOXC2 mediates NETs‐induced EMT alterations through the TGF‐β1‐Smad2/3 pathway. Aloe‐emodin (AE) ameliorates FOXC2‐driven fibrosis by blocking NETs formation and EMT changes through this pathway.

Alkaline–Acid Intestine Environment Controlled by A Carbonic Anhydrase Gene Influences Synthesis of Sex Pheromone by Symbionts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A model proposing that elevated rectal expression of CAh1 in males alkalinizes the environment to regulate Bacillus production of a male‐specific sex pheromone. Abstract The intricate interplay between animals and their intestinal microbes is pivotal in shaping various aspects of animal biology.

Multi-Omics Integration Reveals the Impact of Gastrointestinal Microbiota on Feed Efficiency in Tan Sheep

open access: yesMicroorganisms
The rumen and intestinal microbiota play a pivotal role in the digestion and absorption processes of ruminants. Elucidating the mechanisms by which gastrointestinal microbiota influence the feed conversion ratio (FCR) in ruminants is significantly ...

ARL5B Drives Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma Progression via ROCK1–SREBP1‐Mediated Lipid Metabolic Reprogramming

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma urgently requires new therapeutic strategies. Adenosine diphosphate‐ribosylation factor‐like protein 5B (ARL5B) is identified as a novel oncogene that remodels fatty acid metabolism through the ras homologous‐associated coiled‐coil containing protein kinase 1 (ROCK1)–sterol regulatory element‐binding protein 1 (SREBP1)

The High‐Altitude Adaptation Characteristics of Microbiota‐Host Cross‐Talk in Yak Gastrointestinal Track

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, a single‐cell atlas of 117,019 yak gastrointestinal cells across 54 subtypes identified HNF4A and SREBF2 as key transcription factors targeting MYO6 gene. Cross‐species and multi‐omics analyses reveals epithelial cells as key regulators that, through interactions with microbes, particularly Bacillus, facilitate flexible energy supply and

Comparative Analysis of the Immunohistochemical Expression of the Parkin and APC proteins in Polyps and Colorectal Adenocarcinomas

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Oncology
Introduction Colorectal carcinoma is the result of a series of mutations based on the adenoma-carcinoma sequence. We aimed to perform a comparative analysis of the immune expression of the parkin (PARK2 gene) and of the APC (APC gene ...
