Personal‐specific gait recognition based on latent orthogonal feature space

open access: yesCognitive Computation and Systems, 2021
Exoskeleton has been applied in the field of medical rehabilitation and assistance. However, there are still some problems in the interaction between human and exoskeleton, such as time delay, the existence of certain constraints on the human body, and ...

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Method for functional state recognition of multifunction radars based on recurrent neural networks

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation, 2021
Radar signal recognition plays a vital role in electronic warfare. For the multifunction radars (MFRs) with complex dynamical modes, the signal recognition needs to identify not only the emitter but also its current functional state. Existing research on

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Hybrid load prediction model of 5G base station based on time series decomposition and GRU network with parameter optimization

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission & Distribution
To ensure the safe and stable operation of 5G base stations, it is essential to accurately predict their power load. However, current short‐term prediction methods are rarely applied rationally in pertinent circumstances to the features of base station ...

Water quality prediction method based on preferred classification

open access: yesIET Cyber-Physical Systems, 2020
Water quality monitoring and prediction are important parts of Cyber Physical Systems. Considering the complexity, diversity, and strong non-linearity of water quality data, a single water quality prediction model is difficult to have a significant ...

Metastasis on pause: How dormant tumor cells stay hidden within the tumor microenvironment and evade immune surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Stochastic neural networks

open access: yesRevista Colombiana de Estadística, 1991
Artificial neural networks are brain-like models of parallel computations and cognitive phenomena. We sample some basic results about neural networks as they relate to stochastic and statistical processes.
