Diabetes due to recurrent pancreatitis secondary to hypercalcemia due to primary hyperparathyroidism
Acute pancreatitis due to hypercalcemia associated with hyperparathyroidism (HPT) is not very common. We herein report a case of a 21-year-old woman, who presented with acute pancreatitis. She had a past history of recurrent nephrolithiasis.

The endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) set a precedent, facilitating cytological sampling through fine‐needle aspiration (FNA), with a sensitivity of 93% and a specificity of 95%.
