Matrix metalloproteinase‐9 regulates cell adhesion and membrane protrusive activity of ovarian cancer cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Matrix metalloproteinase‐9 (MMP9) drives ovarian cancer progression. Using MMP9‐null cells (M9‐KO) created from ovarian cancer cells, we found MMP9 loss did not block Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF)‐driven E‐cadherin dissolution or EMT but delayed and reduced EGF‐driven membrane protrusions. Transient MMP9 re‐expression drove membrane protrusion.

Impedance Control of Redundant Manipulators: Dissertation

open access: yes, 2011
This thesis presents research work related to the impedance control of redundant manipulators. The main goal is to study the effects of redundancy on the dynamic behaviour of manipulators. Firstly, theoretical developments related to redundancy, dynamics and impedance control are presented in general form without restriction to any particular ...

Digital twins to accelerate target identification and drug development for immune‐mediated disorders

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Digital twins integrate patient‐derived molecular and clinical data into personalised computational models that simulate disease mechanisms. They enable rapid identification and validation of therapeutic targets, prediction of drug responses, and prioritisation of candidate interventions.

ALGORITMA PENGATURAN KINEMATIKA ROBOT REDUNDANT UNTUK MENGHINDARI TERJADINYA TUMBUKAN BERDASARKAN SKEMA PRIORITAS TUGAS

open access: yesJurnal Matematika, 2012
A redundant manipulator has more degree of freedom than minimal needed to do its job. In this condition the manipulator can easily do the job, and can say become not optimal. To make the manipulator more optimal, we try to add some obstacles that must be

Optimum Trajectory Generation for Redundant/Hyper-Redundant Manipulators

open access: yesIFAC-PapersOnLine, 2016
Abstract: This paper presents an optimization technique to develop minimum energy consumption trajectories for redundant/hyper-redundant manipulators with pre-defined kinematic and dynamic constraints. The optimization technique presents and combines two novel methods for trajectory optimization.

Hybrid Mutation Fruit Fly Optimization Algorithm for Solving the Inverse Kinematics of a Redundant Robot Manipulator

open access: yes, 2020
The inverse kinematics of redundant manipulators is one of the most important and complicated problems in robotics. Simultaneously, it is also the basis for motion control, trajectory planning, and dynamics analysis of redundant manipulators.

Enzymatic and microbial routes to bioplastics: The green chemistry frontier of biopolymers

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Microbial biosynthesis and engineered enzyme platforms are expanding the design space of polyhydroxyalkanoate bioplastics. By combining fermentation, PHA synthase engineering and cell‐free modular systems, tailored biodegradable polymers can be produced with tunable properties, supporting more sustainable materials and future circular bioeconomy ...

A Truly-Redundant Aerial Manipulator System With Application to Push-and-Slide Inspection in Industrial Plants

open access: yesIEEE Robotics and Automation Letters, 2019
We present the design, motion planning, and control of an aerial manipulator for non-trivial physical interaction tasks, such as pushing while sliding on curved surfaces—a task which is motivated by the increasing interest in autonomous non-destructive ...

Real‐World Performance of CSF Kappa Free Light Chains in the 2024 McDonald Criteria

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Kappa free light chains (KFLCs) in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) have a similar performance to CSF‐restricted oligoclonal bands (OCB) for multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis. To help with implementation, we set out to resolve several remaining uncertainties: (1) performance in a real‐world cohort and the 2024 McDonald criteria; (2 ...

Obstacle Avoidance Path Planning of Space Redundant Manipulator Based on a Collision Detection Algorithm

open access: yesXibei Gongye Daxue Xuebao, 2020
This paper focuses on the path planning of free-floating space redundant manipulator in an environment with obstacles. Firstly, based on the idea of spherical bounding volume and spatial superposition, the spatial occupying relationship between obstacles
