ABSTRACT Cadmium (Cd2+) contamination in agricultural soils has been reported to pose risks to crop productivity, food safety, and human health. This review synthesizes current knowledge on the mechanisms by which essential (S, Zn, Fe, Mg, K, Ca) and beneficial (Si, Se, rare earth elements) elements mitigate Cd2+ toxicity in plants.

Non-newtonian flow 의 Ree-eyring 식으로부터 normal stress coefficient 의 유도
학위논문 (석사) - 한국과학기술원 : 화학과, 1979.2, [ [iv], 65 p.]In this study, we have proposed a theory which was derived from the Ree-Eyring theory of non-Newtonian flow, and predicted the normal stress coefficient.

Abstract Objectives End‐stage chronic liver disease in children is associated with sarcopenia and aberrant adipose tissue mass. We investigated correlations between liver pathology‐associated gene pathways (fibrosis, inflammation and steatosis) and metabolic genes in muscle and adipose tissue.

High performance polyimides for applications in microelectronics and flat panel displays
Polyimides (PIs) exhibit excellent thermal stability, mechanical, dielectric, and chemical resistance properties due to their heterocyclic imide rings and aromatic rings on the backbone.

ABSTRACT Glaciokarst landscapes pose distinctive challenges for cosmogenic dating because meltwater and runoff can be rapidly rerouted into ponors and conduit networks, weakening glacier–river coupling and promoting local sediment storage. We reconstruct glacier retreat and postglacial stabilization on the Snežnik Plateau (SW Slovenia) using in situ ...

Leader Succession and Strategic Change: The Role of Leader's Subgroups Size
ABSTRACT Research suggests that new CEO successors drive strategic change through the subgroup of their immediate collaborators. However, it remains unclear how this subgroup is configured. In this research, we address this limitation by introducing a new concept of “CEO's subgroup size” (the number of TMT members in the CEO's subgroup).

By-product rare earth elements deposits in China and their resource potential
Objective China is the largest producer of rare earth element (REE) and hosts the largest amount of REE resources. Various types of REE deposits have been reported in China, with alkaline-carbonatite related light REE deposits and ion-adsorption heavy ...

Sustainable Metal Recovery From E‐Waste: Exploring Greener Leachates in Hydrometallurgical Processes
Recycling of electronic waste to synthesize valuable metals using green leachate. ABSTRACT The accumulation of electronic waste (e‐waste) poses environmental hazards and leads to the loss of valuable metals such as gold, silver, copper, and rare earth elements.
