China's pathways to net‐zero electricity by 2050 are evaluated using life cycle environmental and economic assessment across six scenarios. Results show that a renewables‐only grid offers the best overall environmental performance and lowest cost, but increases burdens on metal depletion, land use, and ecotoxicity.

Refining Method for Refining Cast Iron by the Electrolysis of Slag
application/pdf Original researches on the refining method of cast iron by the electrolysis of slag will be described in this paper. Cast iron is not so easily reduced as steel that strong deoxidizing reagents, such as alkali, alkali earth metals and Mg, are necessary to reduce cast iron melts satisfactorily.

This study fabricates Fine Slag/Ti4O7@TiC hybrids with interfacial dioxygen bridge coupling to optimize oxygen redox dynamics in lithium‐oxygen batteries (LOBs). Lattice distortion from oxygen vacancies and inherent charge repulsion of Ti‐O‐C interfacial coupling reconstruct and refine the surface coordination environment.
