Stretchable-Substrate-Impregnated Fabric: Deployable Reflectarray Antennas for CubeSats
This paper proposes a stretchable-substrate-impregnated fabric for deployable high-gain antenna for small satellites. Constellations of small satellites offer worldwide coverage of wireless communication and earth observation; high-gain antennas are ...

81-Element single-layer reflectarray with double-ring phasing elements for wideband applications [PDF]
A microstrip reflectarray antenna utilizes a planar array of printed patch elements and a conventional prime or offset feed to form an alternative to the parabolic reflector [1].

Application of bifocal concept to dual reflectarray configurations for multi-beam satellite antennas in Ka-band [PDF]
This contribution describes the design of a multi-beam dual reflectarray antenna for operation in transmission in Ka-band (20 GHz). The bifocal design concept has been used to obtain an improved performance for the off-axis beams with respect to the ...

Axially symmetric dual‐reflectarray antennas
An axially symmetric dual‐reflectarray antenna is proposed. A main reflectarray is designed to mimic a paraboloidal main reflector, and a sub‐reflectarray is designed to mimic a hyperboloidal or an ellipsoidal sub‐reflector. The dual‐reflectarray antenna is more compact than the conventional curved dual reflector.

94 GHz Beam Scanning Dual-Reflector Antenna with a Sub-Reflectarray [PDF]
A Cassegrain dual-reflector antenna which employs a flat reflectarray subreflector was analysed in a recent paper [1]. It was shown that the antenna beam can be scanned by introducing an appropriate progressive phase distribution across the reflectarray ...

Beam-Scanning Reflectarray Based on a Single Varactor-Tuned Element
A single varactor-tuned element is investigated as effective solution for the realization of reconfigurable reflectarray antennas. The proposed configuration is successfully implemented for the design of an X-band reflectarray prototype of 3×15 radiators.
