A High-Power Microwave Reflectarray Antenna Based on Perforated Dielectric Substrate

open access: yesAdvanced Electromagnetics, 2019
A high power microwave antenna based on the reflectarray concept is designed and investigated in this paper. The reflectarray aperture is directly driven by an azimuthally symmetric mode and a directional boresight beam is realized through azimuthally ...

Microstrip reflectarray antenna with offset feed

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1992
The authors derive and verify the concept of antenna focusing by a planar 'microstrip reflectarray' antenna. Experimental results from schematically distributed patch radiators with microstrip delay lines are consistent with the simulation results. The advantages and disadvantages of such an antenna are described.

Reflectarray for K/Ka Band Terminal Antenna [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Different satellite systems have been defined to provide broadband communications and internet access in remote geographical areas in Ka band (20-30 GHz) [1-2], being the up-link at 30 GHz and the down-link at 20 GHz.

Reflectarray antennas for terahertz communications

open access: yes, 2012
Reflectarrays composed of resonant microstrip gold patches on a dielectric substrate are demonstrated for operation at terahertz frequencies. Based on the relation between the patch size and the reflection phase, a progressive phase distribution is implemented on the patch array to create a reflector able to deflect an incident beam towards a ...
