Oculocardiac reflex: an unusual trigger during dental surgery

The oculocardiac reflex is a trigeminal-vagal reflex that manifests as cardiac arrythmias, most often bradycardia. The reflex can be triggered by manipulation of periorbital structures and unintended pressure on the bulbus oculi maxillofacial procedures.
