REFLEXIVITY AND CONNECTEDNESS [PDF]

open access: yesGlasgow Mathematical Journal, 2014
AbstractGiven a finitely generated module over a commutative noetherian ring that satisfies certain reflexivity conditions, we show how failure of the semidualizing property for the module manifests in a disconnection of the prime spectrum of the ring.

Highly Efficient n‐Type Doped Single‐Crystalline Perylene Diimide Microwires via Solution Processing for High‐Performance Photosensors and Photo‐Neuromorphic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Solution‐processed high‐performance n‐type doped single‐crystalline organic semiconductor microwires (MWs) are reported. n‐Type dopants are located at the terrace edge of the MW, resulting in rapid doping and high interaction. n‐doped MWs show 5,000 times enhanced photosensitivity than evaporated films and high photo‐neuromorphic characteristics by ...

Reflexivity and Reflexive Predicates in Korean

open access: yesKorean Journal of Linguistics, 2013
Korean has sentences that contain no overt reflexives but show reflexivity of predicates. Based on Park’s (1985) observation, and following his terminology, we call predicates occurring in such sentences reflexive predicates. The paper is an attempt at providing an account of the nature of reflexive predicates mainly depending on the theory of ...

The swallowing reflex and its significance as an airway defensive reflex

open access: yesFront. Physio., 2013
Swallowing function, in humans, is very complex. Swallowing plays, not only an important role in food digestion, but also a major role in preventing the entrance of food and/or other materials into the lower respiratory tract.

Amplitude modulation of the soleus H-reflex in the human during walking and standing

open access: yesJournal of Neuroscience, 1986
Experiments were done to determine the amplitude of the monosynaptically mediated H-reflex of the soleus muscle at various phases of the step cycle, using a computer-based analysis procedure.
